Triggered? Go there.

Our triggers provide information into the unknown and unseen. When we pay attention and get curious about the things that make us irritated, frustrated, or angry, we can start to dive into the unhealed parts of ourselves. This is where the work begins.

Instead of running away from your emotional landmine, go back to the site of the explosion and start digging. Look around. Get curious about the trigger. What is it about this person that makes me so angry? Why does this situation frustrate me so much? What is the story I’m telling myself about this situation? Start asking yourselves questions and the answers will appear.
