This Self-Love for Teachers online course empowers our classroom leaders with important social-emotional techniques and self-care strategies that will impact their personal well-being and transform their lives in and out of the classroom. This course is presented by Katie Quick, Licensed Professional Counselor and former Chicago Public School teacher with over 15 years in education and a passion for social-emotional learning and teacher advocacy.

About Katie Quick


Katie Quick, M.A., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Self-Love Coach, national speaker, and former Chicago Public School teacher who has been working with urban youth since 2004. As a classroom teacher, Katie taught students in every grade level from preschool through 8th grade in nearly every subject area. She has a masters in counseling from Northwestern University and has worked as a clinical mental health counselor, social-emotional learning teacher, and restorative practices coach, delivering her own Social-Emotional Learning curriculum to 900 students weekly in the Chicago Public Schools. Katie provides a wide range of services for schools including consultation, SEL curriculum development, school assemblies, workshops, and engaging professional development and teacher coaching programs to help infuse the principles of social-emotional learning and improve the emotional culture and climate of your school.
